I actually like the concept of video games based off of game shows. Especially the obstacle course variants. One obstacle course where you have to find the real door and avoid the fake doors kinda remind me on MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge) which was on Spike TV, (Now Paramount Network) which was a redub of a popular Japanese game show Takeshi's Castle. I have a phrase for everyone to hear in this review of a good game. DON'T GET ELIMINATED! This gets a nine from me because this game is so damn good!

I think the main kicker of it all however is the content made for its atrocious wait time. I’ve had to wait about 5-10 minutes just to be put in a single squads game and I couldn’t even be put in a solo game whatsoever.Mediocre battle royale games like Fortnite nowadays (even made by the same people) can be argued as a contender for the worst, but at least a game like that has more features and isn’t immensely slow. This game ended up mediocre back in 2020 and seeing it now, it’s no wonder why it went free-to-play.

Fall Guys is an extremely addictive and accessible fun for the entire family. It is hilarious even when you are losing terribly, which makes it the biggest hit of the summer and possibly also the winter ahead of us.

Fall Guys invites players to Wipeout style tracks with different characters. I can say that it is one of the most entertaining games of the year.

Fall Guys has a decent foundation for creating some whacky multiplayer mayhem, but with so much of your success resting on luck, the lack of maps, and occasional server problems, the entertainment value rapidly dissipates.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is one of the most enjoyable online gaming experiences. With simple controls, heaps of fun, replayable mini-games and customisations (paid or won) that do not alter the gameplay, and a catchy background tune, Fall Guys has everything that causes addictive play. Indeed, even when you are eliminated, there is the immediate urge to hop back in and try your luck again. The only thing that lets Fall Guys down is the inability to play local matches against friends on your couch. The vibrant levels, with their inflatable-like obstacles and moving platforms wouldn’t be out of place on a TV game show. Indeed, I’m now looking forward to the Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout TV adaption, where players must don Fall Guy suits and compete in a similar series of wacky and enjoyable events. Until then, Fall Guys will be my multiplayer game of choice.

If Fall Guys can keep up its current momentum with a steady stream of skins and minigames, I see no reason why it can’t be one of the top contenders in the battle royale genre. It’s got the charm, the fun gameplay, and the multiplayer communituy focus that’s as fun to watch as it is to play, and these beans don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Sharing Fall Guys with someone is ideal, but the laughs will come even when we're playing alone. This funny experience is enhanced by a visual style that could only be defined as eye candy and a simple, but catchy, soundtrack that makes us dance throughout the game.

Even when Fall Guys is working perfectly as intended—no server issues, quick matchmaking, good teammates, balanced levels—its appeal is limited.

Much like the game shows it's based off, Fall Guys isn't meant to be taken seriously, and there are few multiplayer experiences out there that so wholeheartedly put approachable, inclusive fun at the forefront.

Fall Guys is fun, really fun, and that is one of the most important things. Thanks to its fantastic design and its evolving concept, it is clear that it’s here to stay.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is extremely funny, goofy, and I have never stopped laughing while I play it. I can play it with my friends in the same round but it's a pity that I can't really co-op with them.
