El desarrollador de Crysis 3 La Isla Perdida CD Key es Crytek, un desarrollador de juegos alemán y Electronic Arts su editor. Es un videojuego de disparos que se juega desde la perspectiva en primera persona. Pertenece al juego de la serie 'Crysis' lanzado en 2011 y es la tercera entrega, que se ejecuta en el motor de juego CryEngine 3. Anunciado oficialmente el 16 de abril de 2012, el juego salió a la venta el 19 de febrero de 2013 en Norteamérica.
El juego trata sobre un poseedor de un Nanosuit llamado Prophet, cuya misión es vengarse del líder de la raza alienígena Ceph llamada 'Alpha Ceph' y de la CELL Corporation. El protagonista principal de "Crysis Warhead", Psycho, acompaña a Prophet en su misión y está controlado por la IA. El argumento del juego supone el final de la trilogía Crysis. Esta entrega ha introducido novedades en la jugabilidad, que incluyen la función de pirateo y el nuevo arco compuesto, así como Rip and Throw, el modo de juego multijugador asimétrico conocido como "Hunter" y la habilidad Nanosuit. Tras su lanzamiento, el juego recibió una respuesta positiva por parte de la crítica, que alabó su diseño de niveles, su modo multijugador y su aspecto visual. El juego también ganó varios premios antes de salir a la venta. Sin embargo, comercialmente no cumplió las expectativas de la empresa.

Beautiful maps with a great sense of nostalgia from the first game in the series. Major downside though is that with an already tiny community, very few players will be playing this DLC making it very hard to find anywhere to play. Should have been a free release but that's a laughable concept to game developers these days, I know.
