Genuinely fun game. Great campaign with a loadout choice for the start of most missions, good characters, and many optional missions. TheGenuinely fun game. The villains are quite generic however, and not even John Snow can save them from being bad. Zombies in Spaceland is a great map that is fun and silly, and it stands out on its own. I've heard good things about the other maps as well, but unfortunately they're not free. Multiplayer is the weakest part of this game, however, with small maps that look nice but are just the same as BO3. It's fun to shoot people, and some of the weapons are kinda neat, but nothing revolutionary unfortunately. Good game overall; got way too much hate.

I don't care about multiplayer or some fanboy expectations, single is brilliant. Game has one of the best single player company in the entire genre.

Now a while after playing it, I remember some cool fights against mechs. But mostly it was corridor shooter gameplay.There's a story somewhere in there too, but I barely noticed it.The multiplayer disappointed me greatly. I just didn't have much fun playing it. Maybe the players were too skilled or something. The zombie mode had a totally different presentation than main game. The coop gameplay worked well. But after a few long rounds, I figured that was a sufficient test and I did not return to play it.

Infinity Ward devs are back, and they bring a typical Call of Duty game – not a miracle, but it certainly will satisfy all kinds of players.

In the year that had so many good FPS games, Call of Duty failed to bring anything of importance to the medium. The tried and tested formula feels rather stale this year and we might've gotten to a point when the series should just take a break until it figures out what it wants to do.

To be able to walk around your own starship, to enter your quarters and study SDF command structure, to choose your new mission yourself – all these possibilities feel so fresh for Call of Duty.

With an enjoyable campaign and zombies mode, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still a worthwhile purchase, although your mileage may vary when it comes to the game's competitive multiplayer. The campaign in particular is well-acted with moments of levity and gravity. However, while these are still good games to play, the now ordinary gameplay may feel a bit stale, particularly for those who have kept up with the series' annual releases for the past decade. After a particularly good year for the first person shooter, Call Of Duty is not a particular stand-out, a far cry from the series must-buy status at its height.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the perfect way to keep the Call of Duty franchise fresh. This series can't just stick with modern warfare and past wars every single year. Moving to the far future allows for the introduction of new mechanics, equipment, and especially environments that couldn't be done in other time periods. Just don't expect anyhing amazing that will keep you coming back for more. Returning to a slightly more positive note, the game runs surprisingly OK on PC which I never thought would be the case. Although not amazing it's definitely fine granting 1440P & 4K gaming at 60FPS on a 1080GTX a possibility.TL:DR: A decent Call of Duty with a surprisingly good singleplayer and a somewhat boring though alright multiplayer. All while running fine for once on the PC.

Call of Duty needs freshening up. Infinite Warfare has a surprisingly good single-player campaign and a still really good multiplayer. Unfortunately all of this looks like minimal touch ups on a gameplay core that hasn't changed in a decade. Players seem to think the same - new CoD debuted in a disappointing fashion, plus the console version behaves better than the PC one.

Infinite Warfare could have been much more than a passable single-player movie attached to a super fast, super confident multiplayer infrastructure. As such, and with those moments of tantalising potential in mind, it feels like a wasted opportunity.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is not the abomination haters would want it to be but it is clear that the franchise is going through an identity crisis. Under its bizarre sci-fi concept, the campaign still has some of the core elements you would expect from the single player mode, but the overly convoluted structure of the multiplayer, chaotic rhythm, the flashy presentation of Zombies in Spaceland and a few technical hiccups will make you hesitate when calling this a Call of Duty game.

It all adds up to the finest Call of Duty game yet, and it comes from the riskiest package. By and large, Call of Duty’s Warfare line has always maintained the slightest bit grounded, never quite leaping into the distant future by this much...But the leap is a success, underachieving tradition of Michael Bay films be damned.

The campaign is ignorable and the multiplayer needs a little technical work to be as good as last year’s, but the overly silly Zombies mode keeps me coming back. It may not stand out in a year that’s been crowded with great shooters, but it still produces that familiar Call of Duty action.

In some missions you get boost pack (our hated wallrunning and double jump), but maps are so well made that it does not force you to use it. There are some moments where you have to double jump or wallrun, but they are not in middle of shooting, they appear only when you are running or just going through level. About multiplayers: kinda reminds me of Black Ops 3 in some way, but it is NOT like Black Ops 3. Its some kind of mixture between BO3, Ghosts and MW series. Maps are well made, and in most situations (I am not saying ALL) you don't even have to double jump, and like 7 or 8 out of 10 of my gunfights are on ground (including both me and enemy). You might or might not like it, but for example I did not like BO3 and Ghosts MP, I loved MW series MP and for some reason I really like IW MP even when I hated Ghosts and BO3. Like some people say: 100 people, 100 tastes. Do not throw it away before you tried it, you cant really say anything about it when you watch YouTube videos (which are like 99% from console versions, and everyone knows PCMR is PCMR), because console players tend to use a lot more wallrunning and double jumping for some reason.I did not play Zombies yet, so I cannot talk about it.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare succeeds in most aspects of a solid sci-fi shooter. However, a lackluster and rushed story takes away from what could have been a full and complete campaign mode. Luckily where the story lacks, the gameplay and solid mechanics Call of Duty deliver.

As a whole Infinite Warfare is not perfect game, but that doesn't make it a bad game as all three gameplay elements (story, multiplayer, cooperative) combine to make a solid game that fans, and even non-fans, can enjoy and one that shouldn’t be overlooked this year.

An assemblage of hits and misses, that's the measure of this year's Call of Duty. I could say something about publisher Ubisoft pulling back from its annualized Assassin's Creed franchise, or how even Doctor Who gets a break. But it's probably simplest to remind that it's shooter season, and this year, the alternatives are formidable.

Activision and Infinity Ward have decided to play it safe, offering a solid and tested formula, without any relevant additions that could rejuvenate the structure of the game, the gunplay or the multiplayer.

Infinite Warfare provides a huge package with a lot of fun gameplay throughout. There's something here for everyone, and enough to keep us all playing for another year.
